Finally, A Day to Relax

Today was a day to relax after yesterday's travel disaster. We slept in a little and then went out to celebrate a new business deal of Harold's as well as all of our birthdays.
He and Bridie took us to the Island Shangri-La hotel where there was a fabulous buffet in one of the restaurants, Cafe Too.
This buffet had everything! Chinese food (duh), Indian, fresh seafood (crabs legs, snails, shrimp) ,made-to-order noodles, sushi/sashimi, fresh fruit, ice cream, chocolate and strawberry cream fondue, cakes galore and other stuff we couldn't fit in our stomachs.
After gorging on this food for 2 hours, we split up and Annemarie and I took the Peak Tram to do some final sightseeing. It's a really steep ride up the tram and at the top is a tourist trap. Basically, it's a mall for you to visit although there are some walking paths for you to take in the view. It was a nice cool day but there were low clouds so we couldn't see very far.
After walking around the Peak and window shopping we rode the tram back down. We did a little more walking around a nearby mall and called it a day.

We spent the last few hours at Bridie's home eating dinner and relaxing with my parents.
Tomorrow we leave booooo :-( , so we're packing up and getting everything ready for our trip home.
