Today we decided to take it easy and wake up late. We had the excellent breakfast buffet again and then drove into Freemantle (“Freo”) and walked around. There were a ton of shops and cafes in the town centre so we did a little browsing and shopping. Afterward, we drove to the Swan River which was nearby. We walked along the river and then grabbed a bite to eat at a bar/cafe with a great view of the river.

After lunch, we needed to head back to the hotel to meet Bernard's sister, Bridget, and her family. On the way back, we saw the “Perth Kook”!

When Bridget and her family arrived we did some catching up and relaxed the rest of the night.
